Having nothing to do with venerated saints,  the island of Sekijang had its original name misheard and mispronounced by the British to its current iteration: St John. Chef Malcolm Lee learns about the misheard moniker and other lesser-known details about St John’s and Lazarus Island with veteran researcher Dr. Hamzah—before ending the day with a grand platter of Ikan Chuan Chuan.
